LUCKY STREAK

What we are having here is a succession of winning moves since we have the best seven cards in the deck.

We usually cry out “¡La Gran Siete!” when someone has an enormous amount of luck or a lucky streak. The phrase derives from one of the most popular card games in Argentina: truco in which the seven of swords is the third highest card for the final move of the game.

As in any card game, some cards are more important than others.

In the same way truco has a deck of cards and seven cards of great importance, our National Park is so fortunate to have seven prestigious lakes and an adventurous gravel road that connects them all. We begin our crossing, calibrating the compass towards northeast to start enjoying the first stretch of our voyage to Villa La Angostura.

After a good while of sailing, the deep blue cold of the lake gives way to the green and dense coihue forests that surround Villa La Angostura port. It is right here where we’ll start our card game touring, one by one, each of the seven lakes, gazing at their charms and colors, admiring the amazing surroundings and perfectly knowing we are facing the seven best cards of the deck.

Making the last move of the game, we reach San Martín de los Andes: We’ll visit this town and have some free time to think about our next move.

On the way back taking Junín de los Andes, the trip offers a different game. Edging Collón Cura River, the forest vanishes to give way to a magical landscape of fascinating rocky formations. But there’s more: reaching Confluence, the winding blue of Limay River giving shape to “el Valle Encantado” (enchanted valley) and “el Anfiteatro” (amphitheatre).

Going along the river up to its source in Nahuel Huapi Lake, we return to Bariloche with the pleasant satisfaction of the winner.

“6th SENSE

Extrasensory perception or sixth sense implies the reception of information gained through sources unknown by science, not through the recognized five senses such as: taste, view, smell, touch and hearing. Just as the mysterious sixth sense has put the accuracy of science to a test, this circuit makes our senses flourish in the purest and most realistic way.

Touring the most beautiful areas of Municipal Park Llao-Llao, we’ll get to know each secret of the region, get stunned by the worldly known panoramic views. We’ll mix in with the luxury and glamour of the extraordinary Llao Llao hotel and once we have reached the climax of this circuit, we’ll board another ship to sail from Bahía Lopez to the vastness of Nahuel Huapi Lake.

Being our private ship the only witness, we’ll feel the charms of Nahuel Huapi Lake and its branches Blest and Tristeza which will keep our six senses alive by the sight of waterfalls, cascades and pristine beaches.

Once back in Bariloche, we’ll make six toasts, each one for every aroused sense.

5th ELEMENT

The classical elements of Greek civilization are fire, earth, air and water. They represent in Greek philosophy, science and medicine the understanding of the cosmos where everything coexists. For us, there is a fifth element which doesn’t have a name or a geological connotation: it simply turns up every time we make this tour.

This experience aims at living and understanding how these elements directly influence us and our environment.

Let yourself go, relax and enjoy this incursion which will take you to know: Bahía Manzano (Manzano bay); Cerro Bayo (Bayo hill) and its amazing Rio Bonito cascade; Villa La Angostura, its port and charms. We’ll end this crossing by land in the exclusive Relais & Châteaux Las Balsas. After a delicious gourmet lunch at the shore of Nahuel Huapi Lake, we’ll continue our itinerary by ship.

Different colors, scents and sounds will interact, allowing each element to write its own story. We’ll visit the magnificent Arrayanes forest: a wooden path will let us walk through the forest and know the growing stages of the arrayán tree as well as its living together with other vegetable and animal species. We’ll sail gazing at Victoria Island and the species that inhabit the majestic lake.

Once back to Bariloche and with a beautiful sunset, we’ll end our trip with the joy of having known the famous fifth element
